Pocono trucking layoffs ship new jobs to N.Y. site

Jan 14, 2009 · MAYBROOK, N.Y. A New York town will get 150 new jobs as a result of layoffs at a Pocono trucking plant. Roadway Express will be cutting 309 jobs from its Tannersville operation in March, and will move about 150 of those jobs to Yellow Transportation in Maybrook, according to a notification parent company YRC made to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry.
